Welcome to the Denver Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is the international organization for professionals skilled in the design, specification and inspection of plumbing systems. ASPE is dedicated to the advancement of the science of plumbing engineering, to the professional growth and advancement of its members and the health, welfare and safety of the public.

2020 ASPE golf Tournament

The golf tournament that was scheduled for this Friday May 15th has been rescheduled for Friday July 17th. We are hoping that the large gathering ban has been lifted by this time so we can enjoy each other's company again. Once we know the final date the tournament will be held, I will be sending out foursome registration forms. If the ban is still in place on July 17th, we will move the date again but the tournament will have to be on a Thursday as all Fridays are booked until October.

We are planning on having the tournament this year, so bear with us.

April 4th Medical Gas Design Course

We had 31 people attend the Medical Gas Design Course with Mark Allen from Beacon+Medeas.  Mark went in depth on source equipment sizing, medical gas zone valves and locations, area alarm panels, master alarm panels and many other design details to medical gas.  He reviewed all of the medical piping systems typically in a hospital including oxygen, vacuum, medical air, nitrous oxide, nitrogen and instrument air; including outlet quantity and type requirements.  Attendees earn 0.7 CEUs (7 hours of professional development hours) at a cost of only $10 per hour of continuing education units!

We appreciate Mark Allen from Beacon+Medeas coming into Denver to teach this course!
